WHAT IS A VIRTUAL TOUR

Our bespoke 360° virtual tours are more than just photography, they bring your customers into your world, giving them an immersive experience that just isn’t possible with websites, still photography, and video. They offer people the chance to immerse themselves in your environment, as if they were there, from anywhere in the world. A virtual tour should be considered an investment in your business.

A virtual tour can be used to promote any kind of business, such as holiday rentals, restaurants, bars, care homes, schools, wedding venues, galleries, tourist attractions … the possibilities really are endless.

Imagine wanting to view a holiday rental before booking, and being able to look around as if you were there, with a fully immersive experience which could include video, photos, sound etc; this will elevate you above the competition. Because we provide a bespoke service you can include however many rooms you wish, and can make the tour as immersive as you want to, all coupled with your company branding.

Out tours can be provided as a self contained package for you to include on your website, or we can host the tour for you at no cost (premium fast hosting available if required) with embeddable links for you to add to your site. Unlike some competitors, we do not have ongoing costs that you have to pay in order to view your tour.

WHAT CAN WE INCLUDE

To give you a really immersive virtual tour there are many options available. Some examples are:

  • Linked panoramas allowing your visitor to virtually ‘walk’ between locations

  • Background ambient audio to give a sense of atmosphere

  • Hotspots - items that allow popup information panels, photos, videos, audio, links to websites, calls to action (such as bookings or mailing list signups)

  • Embedded video which can be viewed whilst browsing

  • Embed external content, such as information guides or brochures

  • Immersive, directional, audio - eg hearing birds as you face a window, but not when you face away

  • Live panoramas - these allow a transition between, for example, day & night

  • VR (Virtual Reality) ready - put on a VR headset and it’s almost like you’re there

  • Include maps that show your location

  • include your floor plans to show where everything is, and then have hotpots embedded to take the visitor to a specific location with a single click

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS

Simply by having a 360° virtual tour already elevates your web presence, and they have quickly become one of the most effective marketing tools.

Statistics show that having a virtual tour increases the time that visitors stay on your website, keeping them engaged for longer. More customers use the internet to research businesses than ever before, so having the ability to let them ‘visit’ you without leaving their armchair is a huge benefit.

Virtual tours should really be considered as an investment in your business, and a survey by a leading hotel chain found that the return on that investment was around 4 weeks. Other surveys have found that, for example, holiday lettings increased by nearly 50% compared to those without a virtual tour.

Since the Coronavirus pandemic, virtual tours have never been more relevant, and customer engagement has increased dramatically.

HOW COULD A VIRTUAL TOUR BE USED

360° virtual tours are suitable for pretty much any kind of business or property, particularly because they are so immersive. Some examples of the types of use could be:

  • Rental property (or sales) - cottages, apartments, houses, villas, cabins

  • Stately homes and castles

  • New development show homes

  • Entertainment and retail - eg coffee shops, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, theme parks, studios, shops, salons

  • Museums, galleries, schools, colleges, churches, cathedrals, offices

  • Visual documentation - eg crime scene, pre let properties, insurance purposes, stages of development and construction

The possibilities are endless!
